What you get

Four things, done properly

Pick one or all four. Most people get leaves and gutters together, because the crew is already there and the ladder is already up.

Leaf cleanup

Priced in the table below

Lawn, beds, under the shrubs, along the fence and the edges the mower never gets. Blown, gathered, bagged.

Gutters cleaned & flushed

Quoted for your house

Scooped out by hand, then run with water so we can see the downspouts actually drain. Scooping alone hides a clog.

Roof blow-off

Quoted for your house

Leaves and needles blown off the shingles and out of the valleys, where they sit and hold water all winter.

Bagged & hauled away

Included

We take it with us. Nothing left at the curb for you to deal with, and no pile behind the garage.

Why the flush mattersWhat a clogged gutter does
Why the flush matters

Scooped is not the same as clear

…down your siding

A gutter that looks empty can still be blocked

The clog is almost never in the trough where you can see it. It is packed into the elbow at the top of the downspout. Scoop the trough, take a photo, and it looks finished — then the first hard rain runs over the front edge and down the siding.

  • Hand-scooped first, so the water has somewhere to go
  • Then run with water until the downspout drains freely
  • If a spout won't clear, we tell you before we leave — not after
Price

What leaf cleanup costs

Ranges by lot size, because two yards the same size can be an hour apart depending on the trees. You get a firm number before anyone starts.

Lot sizePriceUsually lands here when…
1/4 acre$160 – $290Low end: a couple of trees. High end: mature oaks, matted leaves
1/2 acre$230 – $475Beds, fence lines and edges push it up more than the lawn does
3/4 acre$305 – $710Heavy tree cover and a long haul to the truck
1 acre$410 – $925Most of an acre under canopy

Bagging and hauling away is included in those numbers.

Gutters and roof blow-off are priced for your house, not off a chart

Gutter work depends on how much roof there is, how high it is, how many downspouts, and whether you have guards. There is no honest table for that, so we look at yours and give you one number covering the leaves and the gutters together — before anybody starts.

What moves you up or down the range

1 How many trees you have

This is the real cost driver — not lot size. A quarter acre with nine mature oaks is a bigger job than a half acre with two.

2 How packed it already is

Leaves that have been rained on and matted down weigh several times what dry leaves weigh, and they don't blow.

3 How much is hauled away

Bagging and hauling is the part that scales. If you have a place on the property for them, it comes down.

Your number lands inside that range, in writing, before anybody starts

Tell us your address and roughly how many trees. We'll pin it to one number — not a range — and it doesn't move once you say yes. If we get there and it's genuinely smaller than described, the number goes down, not up.

Bundle with windowsWhy it is cheaper together
Worth knowing

The ladder is already up

Gutters and outside windows are the same trip, the same ladder and the same crew. Booking them together is cheaper than booking them a month apart, and it's one morning instead of two.

What comes nextThe Snowfall Plan
Then comes winter

Leaves out, snow in

Same crew, same trucks, same route. Once the leaves are gone the Snowfall Plan picks up: 2 inches or more falls, your driveway gets cleared, nobody has to call.

Questions

Straight answers

Do I need to be home?

No. Leave the gates unlocked and we'll text you photos when it's done.

Do you take the leaves with you?

Yes, that's included unless you'd rather keep them for compost — say so and the price comes down.

When should I book?

Late October through the middle of November is the sweet spot in the Twin Cities. Earlier and half the leaves are still on the tree; later and they're frozen into the lawn.

What if more leaves fall after you leave?

They will — that's normal, and it isn't a redo. If you have a lot of oaks, two visits a few weeks apart usually costs less than one visit fighting a foot of matted leaves.

Do you do gutter guards?

We don't install them. We'll clean gutters that have them, and we'll tell you honestly whether yours are helping. Guards change how long the job takes, which is part of why gutters get a quote rather than a table price.

How far do you go?

Golden Valley, St. Louis Park, Plymouth, Minnetonka, Minneapolis, Edina, Hopkins, Wayzata, Crystal, New Hope, Robbinsdale, Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove, Eden Prairie, Bloomington, Richfield, St. Paul and Roseville.

Are you insured?

Yes — $1M per occurrence, $2M aggregate. We'll send the certificate if you want it.

How fast do you reply?

Within 24 hours, guaranteed. Usually the same evening.

If the gutters don't get cleared

Water that can't get down the spout goes over the front edge of the gutter instead. In October that means a stripe down your siding and a soggy strip of mulch.

In January it means an ice dam. Snow melts on the warm part of the roof, runs down, hits the cold packed gutter, and freezes there. The ice backs up under the shingles, and that is where roof leaks come from — not from a hole, from water going uphill.

That's the whole reason we flush instead of just scooping. Clearing it in the fall is a normal-priced job. The ceiling stain in February is not.

Why a range

Lot size is the only thing we can know before we look, so that's what the table is built on. But lot size is not what makes a leaf job long or short — tree count is. A quarter acre under mature oaks can be twice the work of a half acre with a couple of maples.

A single posted price would mean overcharging the houses with two trees to cover the houses with nine. The range is us being straight about that instead of hiding it.

Your actual number lands inside the range for your lot size, you get it in writing before anyone shows up, and it doesn't change once you've accepted it.
